Things to Do:
As you reach the park you are welcomed by a beautiful view of lush green lawns.

Beautiful picnic tables are installed for you to enjoy your delicious picnic meal that you might have brought along. Ample parking space is available. A lot of small  stalls are also available near the parking from where you can get snacks, soft drinks or tea / coffee.

After parking the car you will have a small hike to make to get to the view point. This hike is not very steep however comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

GIGGLES TIP: Never litter in such a beautiful place (or any place for that matter). Enough trash cans are around the place so make good use of them!

Eating:
The main reason for us Pakistanis to go out is to eat. So have no fear as there are two restaurants present at the view point.

1. Kashmirwala's Restaurant. Serves good local dishes as well as Chinese menu.

2. Cafe Lazeez.  Serves continental food and has a beautiful location and ambiance.

The reason for you to be there:
The main reason that you travelled all the way uphill was to have a view of the beautiful city of Islamabad. So this place would give you ample opportunity to this magnificent city in all the glory.

Best time to go:
Look for a preferable no haze day as some days are going to obscure the view a lot. Very early in the day or late in the evening has the sun right on your face so that would also not give you a good view. Best time to go is either noon to have a great day view or after sunset to see the shinning lights of Islamabad giving a magnificent scene.
